Meta launches Horizon Worlds in France
After the United States and Canada at the end of last year, and the United Kingdom at the very beginning of the summer, Horizon Worlds has therefore just landed in France. It was Mark Zuckerberg himself who took care of publishing a post on Facebook to announce the big news. A message accompanied by an image on which we can find the avatar of the great manitou of Meta, with the Eiffel Tower in the background, as well as the Sagrada Familia, Horizon Worlds also landing in Spain.
For Meta, Horizon Worlds is a golden opportunity to perform various experiments in the metaverse. Last February, Meta’s platform surpassed the 300,000 user mark, with more than 10,000 “worlds” already created. “Come in and play, build or just hang out. the possibilities are limitless”explained the American group.
With its Horizon platform, Meta offers a “game” section, with Worlds, which allows everyone to create their own universe. But Horizon can also be used to organize events of all kinds, directly in the metaverse. We can imagine holding fashion shows, concerts or even shows, all to experience in virtual reality. Added to this is the possibility of creating professional conferences, still in the same virtual universe.
