The series law that affected Drake and his sports betting is coming to an end. Or at least, a winning prognosis has just allowed him to breathe a little, after many failed forecasts on football, basketball, NFL or even Formula 1 and UFC matches.
Last weekend, the rapper from Toronto, Canada posted a series to brag about having won the sum of 2 million dollars after the American football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals.
“Big Sunday, let’s buy mom something nice,” he wrote to his 130 million fans.
In 2022, Drake lost no less than 29.6 million dollars (US) during his numerous sports bets and gambling, on his partner platform Stake(.)com. From January to November 2022, there were no less than 11 losses on his series of bets.
Fortunately for him, a bet in May 2022 at roulette allowed him to pocket the monstrous sum of 17 million dollars.
Drake’s curse and his online bets
On closer inspection, we can see that it is on the sports betting side that the man has mainly lost, arriving with gambling and his partner Stake (.) com to stay in the green in 2022, at $46 million in profits.
His sports betting record is a disaster, aside from the recent NFL game that propelled the Kansas City Chiefs to the Super Bowl .
During the football World Cup, he came close to the jackpot by betting on a victory for Argentina, but without extra time. He also bet on FC Barcelona during his last meeting against Real Madrid, or that the famous competitor of UFC Israel Adesanya thinking that he would beat Alex Pareira. In the NCAA Final Four Tour, he chose to support the Duke Blue Devils over the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Each time, these teams he supported lost. They cost him millions of dollars. A curse that left the media to think that each Drake prediction could give an idea of the result of a match or a fight: namely that the team or the competitor on which Drake would bet would always lose.
