When will God of War Ragnarok be released?
The release of God of War Ragnarök is expected for November 9, 2022 all over the world. The new title from Santa Monica Studio will therefore arrive in a very intense period. The famous end of the year with countless video game releases!
On which consoles will God of War Ragnarök be released?
The new installment of God of War will arrive exclusively on PlayStation consoles. The game will be available on PS5 (optimized for the console) as well as PS4.
What will be the weight of the game on consoles?
With hard drives of only 825GB (on PS5) and 1TB (on PS4), the weight of games is an important subject. At the moment (July 11, 2022), the weight of God of War Ragnarök on PS5 and PS4 has not been revealed. The first opus (in 2018) weighed around 45GB on PS4, 65GB on PS5 and PC. It would probably take 80GB for this suite (at least).
Will there be multiple editions of God of War Ragnarök?
Yes, like most PlayStation games, God of War Ragnarök will have its special editions in both physical and digital. In total, Santa Monica Studio offers you four different editions with pre-order bonuses.

What will be the price of God of War Ragnarök and its editions?
For the moment, Santa Monica Studio has not yet revealed the price of the different editions of the game. We will have to wait until July 15 for the opening of pre-orders and the announcement of prices. It will take without counting €79.99 for the simple edition, €89.99 for the digital deluxe edition, €179.99 for the collector’s edition and €219.99 for the Jötnar edition.
Will God of War Ragnarök be the sequel to the first game?
Yes, in this new adventure, we will find Kratos and Atreus a few years after their epic adventure on the highest peak of the Nine Kingdoms. We should find emblematic characters like the dwarf blacksmith brothers Brokk and Sindri as well as the witch Freya.
Will there be an online mode?
No, like the first installment in 2018, God of War Ragnarök will be a single-player game only.
Will the game be compatible with the next-gen features of the PS5?
Yes, Santa Monica Studio, has confirmed that God of War Ragnarök will be compatible with all PS5 features like haptic feedback, 3D audio, and adaptive triggers. For the moment, the studio has not yet detailed the various features.
Will God of War Ragnarök be accessible?
Yes, like most of the latest PlayStation games (The Last Of Us Part.II, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, Horizon Forbidden West…), God of War Ragnarök will have a wide choice of options in terms of accessibility. In total, the game will have about sixty options to make the game accessible to the greatest number of players, including many elements related to subtitles and text displayed on the screen, options to adjust the size of elements text or icons present in-game. Players will be able to choose to adjust the contrast of the colors applied to the characters but also to the environments and much more!

We learn that the title will have more than 60 different options to make the game as accessible as possible. Currently not. Nothing planned for the new PS Plus, whether for Extra players or Premium players.
