Google Play Games Beta Gets Bigger, Requires Less Resources
Visibly confident about the proper development of its platform, Google has announced that the beta version of Play Games will be extended to new markets. No premature joy, however, since the service, called Google Play Games with us, is not yet offered in France. In addition to the countries mentioned above, it is the turn of players from Australia and Thailand to be able to enjoy a selection of Android games on PC.
As Google explains on the dedicated site: “In addition to enjoying your favorite Android games on PC, you can use your keyboard and mouse, and benefit from fluid synchronization between your different devices as well as the Google Play Points program.“In addition to expanding beta access, Google has also scaled back the specifications needed to use the platform.
Also, it will not be required to have a gaming PC, since Google Play Games works via Windows 10 and now requires a storage space of 10 GB (SSD), an Intel Graphics 630 GPU, a quad core processor and 8 GB of RAM. Currently, more than 35 games are available through the beta version of Android Play Games.
At this time, it is impossible to know when Android Play Games will be deployed in a stable way for all users. Google says the beta will be rolled out to other regions later in 2022”and beyond“. So be patient.
