Available since 2010 on PS3, Heavy Rain is a fantastic narrative and investigation game from the French studio Quantic Dream. Led by David Cage, the Quantic Dream studio has always been independent, but closely linked to Sony with many exclusive developments for PlayStation consoles.
In 2018, shortly after the release of Detroit Become Human, Quantic Dream reaffirmed its desire to be totally independent and even a video game publisher. With this decision, the studio moves away from Sony and starts publishing its games on other platforms. Heavy Rain is the first game to arrive in June 2019 on PC.
With this title, the player is immersed in a city on the east coast of the United States where a serial killer is rampant. Young children are kidnapped and trapped by a mysterious killer who leaves behind origami. Parents then have five days to find their children before they find themselves trapped in a gutter, drowned by rainwater.
