In “an unprecedented global context”writes the company on its site, “the prices of certain products will increase”she announced while the price of raw materials and electronic components are obviously the main reasons.

“So far, none of these increases have been reflected in our prices. Nevertheless, in the face of a well-established semiconductor crisis which is expected to continue at least until 2023, we have today decided to increase the selling price of some of our products”, adds Withings. In recent months, the brand has been experiencing significant delays in the stock of its products.

Withings products affected by the price increase

For connected watches, the white and black ScanWatches are concerned, with 38 mm dials. Rather than 279.95 euros, they will now be marketed for 20 euros more from September 19, or 299.95 euros. As a reminder, this watch is for us the best of the range in terms of quality/performance/price ratio. The ScanWatch Horizon brings nothing more than an aluminum bracelet, for 200 euros more.
