Like every month, Sony unveils new games on PS4 and PS5 that will be offered to PlayStation Plus subscribers. Still under the new PS Plus, all subscribers will have access to its games, whether with the Essential, Extra or Premium formula.
In addition to your subscription allowing you to play online, to have access to exclusive content, special promotions on some games and some DLC, you have free access to several games.
For the month of September 2022, three new games are on the program… And not just any! We will have some street racing on the program with a cult license. A little fight with an action-packed fighting game. But also, a nice little trip to put your photographic talents to use!
The three games are to be collected from September 6, 2022 and until October 3, 2022 on PS4 and PS5.
Need For Speed Heat (PS4)
The first game of September 2022 is therefore Need For Speed Heat! The latest installment in the mythical Need For Speed saga that immerses you in urban races where the limits of legality fade as soon as the sun goes down. During the day, Palm City vibrates to the rhythm of the Speedhunter Showdown, an official competition where you can win the means to customize and improve your best cars. At night, the intensity kicks up a notch in illegal city races where you can build your reputation to gain access to more prestigious races and better spare parts.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus (PS4)
The second game of the month for September 2022 is therefore Granblue Fantasy: Versus. This is an action packed fighting game in
the world of Granblue Fantasy. Discover now colorful characters, each with a unique fighting style. The game also includes an RPG mode which contains an all-new original story. Play solo or team up with a friend to take on waves of enemies in exhilarating action RPG.
Tom (PS5 | PS4)
Finally, the third and last game of this month of September 2022 is Toem. This is a cute little game, in which you will embark on a unique expedition to showcase your photography skills to discover many secrets in this hand-drawn adventure game. Chat with eccentric characters, solve their problems by taking cute pictures and evolve in a relaxing environment.
HOW TO RECOVER YOUR GAMES ON YOUR CONSOLE?
Simply log on to your PS4 or PS5 system, and go to the “PlayStation Store”, then to the category PS Plus. Games of the month will be listed here with a special promotion to pick them up for free. You don’t have to download them, you can simply “add them to the library” to retrieve them and enjoy them until the end of your subscription.
Please note: you must subscribe to at least PlayStation Plus Essential to be able to access the offer of games offered every month. You will keep all of your games as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe for several months, your games will not be lost, but they will no longer be accessible until you renew your subscription.
HOW TO RECOVER YOUR GAMES WITHOUT YOUR CONSOLE?
Don’t have your PS4 or PS5 handy? You can still add free PlayStation games to your PSN library to ensure you have them until the end of your subscription. If your console is on standby, you can even start downloading your games offered remotely, via the official PlayStation Store website. To do this, go to the PS Plus category, then to the games of the month. It is also possible to do this via the “PS App” application on iOS and Android mobiles!
WHAT IS THE PRICE OF PS PLUS?
Since June 2022, the new PlayStation Plus has been available. You can therefore choose between three formulas with different prices and advantages, including:

– Access to online multiplayer
– A catalog of around 400 of the best PS4 and PS5 games, including hits from our PlayStation Studios catalog and our third-party partners. Extra tier games can be downloaded for offline access.
This second offer therefore adds access to a catalog of PS4 and PS5 games accessible via the Cloud or for download on your console. It will be possible to subscribe monthly, quarterly (€39.99) or yearly (€99.99).
- The PlayStation Plus Premium (€16.99 / month)
– Two downloadable games each month
– Exclusive discounts
– Cloud storage for game saves
– Access to online multiplayer
– A catalog of around 400 of the best PS4 and PS5 games, including hits from our PlayStation Studios catalog and our third-party partners. Extra tier games can be downloaded for offline access.
– A catalog of approximately 340 games of the best PS3, PSP, PS2 and PS1 games available for streaming via the Cloud (for PS3 games) and/or for download on your console for PSP, PS2 and PS1 games.
– Limited-time trial versions will also be offered at this tier, allowing players to test before purchasing.
This third and final offer adds access to a catalog of PS3, PSP, PS2 and PS1 games as well as access to demos to test your games before buying them. It will be possible to subscribe monthly, quarterly (€49.99) or yearly (€119.99).
