Founded at the beginning of 2021, Stellantis is an automotive group resulting from the merger of PSA and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. For this first half of 2022, Stellantis is very proud to announce sharply higher results, with net sales of 88 billion euros, an increase of 17% compared to the same period. last year. Current operating income amounted to 12.4 billion euros, an increase of 44%, with a margin of 14.1%. Net profit amounted to 8 billion euros, an increase of 34%.

Like many automotive groups, Stellantis has defined a guideline for its electrification: Dare Forward 2030. The group is thus seeing a very clear acceleration in sales of low-emission vehicles (LEV), which include battery-electric vehicles ( BEV), plug-in hybrids (PHEV) and fuel cell electric vehicles.
In the battery electric vehicle market, global BEV sales at Stellantis are up 50% year-on-year to 136,000 units for the first half. In total, the company now offers 20 BEVs (divided among the various brands of the group, including a very popular Fiat 500e in France), and 28 additional BEVs are expected for 2024.

Regarding batteries, Stellantis confirms five sites for five gigafactories (three in Europe and two in North America), in partnership with Automotive Cells Company, Samsung SDI and LG Energy Solution. As for the in-vehicle experience, Stellantis has also entered into various agreements with Amazon and Qualcomm. A few months ago, the group set out to conquer innovative start-ups to enable it to accelerate in terms of innovation.
