While stressing that HBO has not yet officially made the decision to finance another season. De facto, Westworld could therefore stop at season 4, the last episodes of which have just been broadcast.
Lisa Joy explains to The Wrap blog: “We had always planned to end the series in the next season. You know, we always thought that Westworld should close the circle by going West. But with a Dolores who goes from a simple pawn to a character capable of writing her own story”

But as you know life throws a few surprises . So we cross our fingers”tempers Lisa Joy to better remind that the series has not yet been officially renewed for a 5th season.
